The design of Casa Entre Quintas, located in the parish of Massarelos in the city of Porto, stemmed from the need to remodel both the interior spaces and the facade of the building.

On the ground floor, all rooms were remodeled except for the entrance, thus creating a vestibule in the area previously used as a kitchen. The living room area was eliminated, its space being divided into a kitchen and a bedroom.

On the first floor, the bathroom was remodeled to become a service bathroom. The kitchen entrance door was changed from a sliding door to a double door for greater ease of use.

On the exterior, alterations were made to the recessed floor, located on the second floor. New openings were created to allow more light and air into the interior. The color of the recessed floor changed from light to dark, and the configuration of its eaves, as well as the side wall, also underwent changes. In the rear elevation, the openings were shortened compared to the original design, meeting the client's needs and improving the use of the rooms, both by raising the window sills and by their location.
